China Best Group (HKG:0370) has named Li Mengzhe as its chairman and a non-executive director effective Jan. 17, a same-day bourse filing by the trading company said.

Li is the founder of a private equity investment entity, and has also served in a North American bank and Power Capital, a financial institution.

On the same day, executive director Wang Yingqian has also been redesignated as deputy chairman of the board.
