Competition Regulator Greenlights Extension of Tabcorp's Western Australian Wagering Deal

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) authorized Tabcorp Holdings (ASX:TAH) unit Tabcorp VIC to extend its existing deal with Racing and Wagering Western Australia related to the latter's participation in the betting website SuperTAB, the regulator said in a Wednesday statement.

As per the ACCC, the extension will be granted for two years.

The move was made following the grant of Tabcorp's 20-year Victorian wagering and betting license on Aug. 16, 2024.

Tabcorp Holdings' shares were up over 1% in recent Friday trade.
