1337 ET - Alaska Air Group's better-than-expected 4Q was fueled by corporate fliers, who returned to taking shorter-haul West Coast flights, Chief Commercial Officer Andrew Harrison says on a call with analysts. Corporate travel revenue was up 8% in the recent quarter and 15% in 2024, led by the technology and professional-services sectors. The outlook is strong, Harrison adds. Alaska will capitalize on the growing number of corporate passengers by building out its international business travel options, such as with the launch of its first international widebody service from Seattle to Tokyo this spring. "We are eager to begin servicing this demand," Harrison says. (connor.hart@wsj.com)
