Australia's Santos forecasts higher production for 2025

Jan 23 (Reuters) - Australian oil and gas producer Santos STO.AX on Thursday forecast higher fiscal 2025 production on the back of higher sales volumes recorded in the fourth quarter.

The country's no. 2 independent gas producer expects 2025 output between 90 million and 97 million barrels of oil equivalent (mmboe), compared with its 2024 output of 87.1 mmboe.

That compares with Visible Alpha consensus of 89.9 mmboe.
