Contact Energy (NZE:CEN, ASX:CEN) signed a contract with gas producer OMV for the supply of natural gas from the Pohokura field, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.

The contract period is from January 2026 to December 2032, the filing said. The supplier forecast volume is 3.5 petajoules for the first 12 months, with an expected annual decline throughout the period.

The deal is subject to ministerial consent.
