Beach Energy (ASX:BPT) reported that its total sales revenue for the fiscal second quarter clocked in at AU$563 million, jumping 32% from AU$427 million in the fiscal first quarter, driven by lifting the third and fourth Waitsia liquefied natural gas swap cargoes, according to an Australian bourse filing on Wednesday.
The oil and gas explorer produced 5 million barrels of oil equivalent (MMboe) in fiscal Q2, down 5% from 5.2 MMboe in the previous quarter. Sales volumes reached 6.8 MMboe, up from 5.5 MMboe in fiscal Q1, the filing said.
The average realized gas price increased by 3% from last quarter to AU$10.70 from AU$10.30 per gigajoule, while the average price of oil decreased by 3% to AU$123 from AU$127 per barrel, per the filing.
