SITC International (HKG:1308) unit SITC Shipowning exercised an option to get two container vessels constructed by Huanghai Shipbuilding for a total of $57.96 million, a Friday bourse filing said.

The vessels comprise two 1,800 TEU container vessels with a deadweight tonnage of approximately 24,000 tons.

The integrated transportation and logistics solutions company had previously exercised the option to get two container vessels built in October 2024.
