Provident Financial Holdings (PROV) said Thursday its board authorized the repurchase of up to 5% of the company's common stock, or about 334,773 shares, for one year starting this Friday.
The company simultaneously cancelled its September 2023 stock repurchase program which was extended in September 2024.
Provident also maintained a quarterly cash dividend of $0.14 per share, payable on March 6 to shareholders on record as of Feb. 13.
