Prudential (HKG:2378, SGX:K6S) bought back 894,465 shares on the London Stock Exchange on Thursday for an average price of 6.4794 pounds sterling apiece, a Friday bourse filing said.
The company intends to cancel the repurchased shares.
Following the buyback, the insurer will have 2,646,653,528 shares in issue.
