Flat Glass Group (HKG:6865, SHA:601865) expects an attributable profit of between 938 million yuan and 1.08 billion yuan for the year 2024, down 61% to 66% from the year-ago period, a Thursday bourse filing said.
The glass producer attributed the lower anticipated profit mainly to a lower selling price of PV glass, as well as a provision for asset impairment for cold repair glass kilns and part of the PV glass inventories.
