Chorus (NZE:CNU, ASX:CNU) said total fiber connections rose by about 6,000 lines to nearly 1.1 million connections in the second quarter ended Dec. 31, 2024, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
This offset a decline of 4,000 copper broadband lines in Chorus fiber areas, per the filing.
The telecommunications company disconnected 16,000 copper lines during the quarter, leaving about 123,000 copper lines as of Dec. 31.
