Jacobs Solutions (J) said Thursday it won a US Army Corps of Engineers Japan contract to provide architecture and engineering services supporting the US Department of Defense.
The multiple award task order contract covers construction, restoration, modernization, and host nation construction programs, the company said.
Jacobs will contribute design-build expertise for US military installations, including infrastructure, mission facilities, communications systems, and recreational, educational, and wellness amenities, the company said.
US Army Corps of Engineers Japan values the contract at nearly $249 million over a seven-year period, comprising a five-year base term and a two-year optional term, Jacobs added.
Shares of Jacobs Solutions were down 1.4% in recent trading.
