Ballymore Resources (ASX:BMR) will start its stage five diamond drilling campaign at the Dittmer gold project in Queensland in February, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The program will explore extensions to known mineralization as well as the deep porphyry magnetic body located beneath the historic Dittmer mine, aiming to complete an initial mineral resource estimation for the area, the filing said.

Shares rose more than 4% in afternoon trade Tuesday.
