ITI Bags New Order Worth INR1.67 Billion; Shares Down 3%

Telecom manufacturing company ITI (NSE:ITI, BOM:523610) has secured a new order worth 1.67 billion Indian rupees from the Rural Development Department of the State Government of Maharashtra, according to a Wednesday filing to the stock exchanges.

The contract is to set up, operationalize, roll out, and monitor digital services in the implementation of Aaple Sarkar Seva Kendra in Gram Panchayats of the Chatrapathi Sambhaji Nagar Region in Maharashtra.

The contract also entails the maintenance of systems for one year.

Shares of the company were down 3% in recent trade.
