Ovintiv (OVV) said late Wednesday it closed the sale of substantially all its Uinta assets in Utah to FourPoint Resources for about $2 billion in cash.

Ovintiv said its proposed acquisition of certain Alberta Montney assets from Paramount Resources is expected to close before the end of Q1.
