Jan 22 (Reuters) - Australia's Woodside Energy said on Wednesday it expects to see a slight jump in oil production in fiscal 2025, owing to a ramp-up at the Sangomar facility in Senegal while reporting a 3% rise in fourth-quarter revenue.
A surge in oil production is anticipated, driven by the ramp-up of the Sangomar facility in Senegal, which continues to expand its market for its crude, with the grade being supplied in the U.S. for the first time in the fourth quarter.
The country's biggest independent energy firm expects 2025 production to come in between 186 million and 196 million barrels of oil equivalent (mmboe), largely in line with its 2024 production of 193.9 mmboe.
Woodside posted revenue of $3.47 billion for the three months ended Dec. 31, compared with $3.36 billion in the year-ago period.
The country's top independent oil and gas producer produced 51.4 mmboe during the quarter, compared with 48.1 mmboe a year earlier.
