China United Network Communications' (SHA:600050) number of subscribers of its mobile, fixed-line broadband, telephone, Internet of Things, and dedicated line users reached 1.14 billion in December 2024.

The number of 5G subscribers in December reached 290.4 million during the month, while the number of 5G industry virtual private network customers reached 16,059, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

China Unicom's number of Internet of Things terminal connections was 624.8 million in December, the filing said.
