Cathay Financial (TPE:2882) unit Cathay Life Insurance said its overseas insurance-related company Generali Investments approved a joint venture with Natixis Investment Managers.

The venture aims to manage their respective asset management businesses, according to a Tuesday Taiwan Exchange filing.

The deal is subject to regulatory approvals and agreements by both parties, it said.
