Net revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31, expressed as the sum of net interest income and noninterest income, was $638.6 million, up from $570.8 million a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $640.1 million.
Shares of the company fell 11% in after-hours trading.
