PetroChina (SHA:601857, HKG:0857) parent China National Petroleum Corp. foresees Chinese crude oil imports rising 1% in 2025, Reuters reported Tuesday.
China's reliance on oil imports is still seen to remain at 70% between 2026 and 2030, the newswire reported, citing CNPC's outlook.
In 2025, Chinese crude oil imports are seen to reach 559 million metric tons, equivalent to 11.18 million barrels per day, the report said.
