Ganfeng Lithium Group (SHE:002460, HKG:1772) expects an attributable loss of between 1.4 billion yuan and 2.1 billion yuan for the year 2024, compared with an attributable profit of nearly 4.95 billion yuan a year prior, a Jan. 24 bourse filing said.

The lithium producer attributed the anticipated swing to loss mainly to a substantial loss from fair value changes, a lower sales price of lithium salts and lithium batteries, and the provision for impairment of relevant assets such as inventories.
