Veris (ASX:VRS) reported profit before tax of AU$1 million for the first half of fiscal 2025, up 212% on the year-earlier period, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company attributed the increase to improvements in the delivery of project margins and sustained cost control, per the filing.
Unaudited revenue for the six months ended Dec. 31, 2024, fell 3.3% year on year to AU$46.8 million. Cash balance stood at AU$17.6 million as of the end of December.
The digital advisory and consulting firm said its unsecured project pipeline remains steady with a weighted value of more than AU$190 million.
Veris' shares climbed past 10% in recent Tuesday trade.
