Silgan Holdings (SLGN) said Monday it has named Philippe Chevrier as chief operating officer, effective Feb. 3.

Chevrier will also join the company's executive office, a team which sets the company's strategic direction, Silgan said.

Chevrier most recently served at Hexcel (HXL) as president of the Americas and the company's global fibers business and previously spent 20 years at Honeywell International (HON).
