Cipher Mining (CIFR) said late Thursday that SoftBank Group will invest $50 million to support its HPC data center development business, making it a "significant primary investor" in the firm.
SoftBank will buy about 10.4 million Cipher shares for $50 million, the company said.
Cipher Mining shares were up about 19% in after-hours activity.
