SEALSQ (LAES) said Thursday it is committed to strengthening its presence in the US and plans to establish a semiconductor manufacturing facility through the expansion of SEALSQ USA.

The company said the initiative would reinforce the US semiconductor supply chain by enabling domestic production of advanced post-quantum microchips.

As part of the expansion, SEALSQ USA will establish a dedicated Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test center, the company said.

It added the facility will focus on enhancing the US's semiconductor self-sufficiency by providing comprehensive packaging, testing, and final assembly services, contributing to a more secure and resilient domestic semiconductor ecosystem.
