0734 GMT - Nordic markets are expected to open slightly higher, with IG forecasting the OMXS30 to rise 0.3% to around 2644. U.S. markets recovered slightly following Monday's tech-driven stock market drop, while European markets remained more directionless, SEB analysts say in a note. Central banks are in focus today, with rate decisions expected from the Riksbank, the Bank of Canada, and the Federal Reserve. Today's agenda also includes earnings reports from Microsoft and Tesla, along with key Swedish growth indicators, Spanish GDP, and German consumer confidence data. SEB expects the Fed to leave key interest rates unchanged tonight. "Market pricing has shifted significantly higher since the U.S. presidential election, and indicates basically zero percent probability of a cut today." OMXS30 closed at 2635.63, OMXN40 at 2553.43, and OBX at 1411.02. (dominic.chopping@wsj.com)
