Mercedes-Benz joined Geely Automobile Holdings' (HKG:0175) legal challenge against the European Union's tariff on Chinese electric vehicles, Reuters reported Tuesday.
The German luxury carmaker's Smart vehicle in China, which is being manufactured through its joint venture with Geely, faces a tariff of 18.8% in the bloc, the media outlet said.
