CGI (GIB) said Wednesday it signed a share purchase agreement to acquire BJSS, a UK-based technology and engineering consultancy.

The deal, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions, is expected to close in February, CGI said.

Upon completion of the deal, the company said it would expand its operations to 26 locations across the UK, allowing its consultants to work closely with clients through a proximity-based model.

Financial details were not disclosed.
