0859 GMT - WH Smith's potential exit of the High Street business could be timely, Interactive Investor analyst Richard Hunter says in a note. The unit has been a drag recently for the retailer, with store closures, margin pressures and faltering progress, he says. The move would allow the company to focus on its Travel unit, which is currently responsible for 85% of trading profit, Hunter notes. Shares are up 6.2% at 1,264 pence.
