Mullen Automotive (MULN) said Thursday it purchased additional battery line equipment from Nikola (NKLA) for its battery operations in Fullerton, California.
Mullen said the recently purchased Nikola assets include a high-volume standard battery chemistry production line. The Fullerton facility produces battery packs, modules and advanced solid-state polymers, the electric vehicle manufacturer said.
Mullen shares were down over 8% in recent trading, while Nikola rose more than 7%.
