Anhui Expressway (HKG:0995) said the Development and Reform Commission of Anhui Province has approved the reconstruction and expansion project for the Gezidun interchange to the Anhui-Hubei border section of G50 Huyu Expressway, according to a Jan. 24 bourse filing.

The firm plans to invest a little over 12.3 billion yuan in the project in the form of a capital contribution of about 2.46 billion, with the remaining amount to be financed by loans and other methods.

The project is subject to approval from the construction management company's shareholders.
