Maanshan Iron & Steel (HKG:0323, SHA:600808) is proposing to make a capital injection in unit Maanshan Iron & Steel Ltd. Co. in the form of an asset transfer worth 10.7 billion yuan, a Jan. 24 bourse filing said.

The iron and steel company will inject the assets of its iron and steel main business; liabilities, personnel, business, and equity interests in 15 units; and equity interests in three equity shareholding companies.

Of this, the total assets to be injected are worth around 56.9 billion yuan as of July 31, 2024, while total liabilities came in at 46.3 billion yuan, bringing the total net asset value to 10.7 billion yuan.
