MAC Copper (ASX:MAC) reported record fourth-quarter 2024 copper production of 11,320 tonnes, up over 11% from 10,159 tonnes in the third quarter, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The company reported cash costs of of $1.66 per pound, down 12% from $1.90 per pound it reported in the September 2024 quarter, driven by increased production, continued improved cost management, and operational efficiencies.
The firm plans to boost copper production by about 23% to over 50,000 tonnes per year by 2026.
The firm's shares fell almost 2% in early trading on Wednesday.
