Algonquin Power & Utilities Names Rod West Chief Executive

Algonquin Power & Utilities (AQN) said Friday it has named Rod West as chief executive officer, starting March 7.

Chris Huskilson will continue serving as a board member after stepping down as CEO, the company said.

Prior to this appointment, West served as group president of utility operations for Entergy (ETR), overseeing the operational and financial performance of the firm's five operating companies.
