Shares of Stratasys jumped after the company's preliminary fourth-quarter revenue and earnings figures came in stronger than analysts had expected.
The stock was up 15% at $10.70 in early trading. Shares were trading at $13.36 this time a year ago.
The maker of 3D printers said Monday that revenue is expected to come in at $150.1 million to $150.5 million for the quarter, above the $149.9 million expected by analysts, according to FactSet.
The net loss for the quarter is set to be $15.3 million to $16.5 million. One analyst surveyed by FactSet had been targeting a loss of $23.9 million.
Excluding one-time items, the adjusted profit is expected to be $8.1 million to $8.6 million, above the $7.2 million consensus estimates of analysts polled by FactSet.
