Telstra Group (ASX:TLS) partnered with Australian Payments Plus to offer identity verification via ConnectID, according to a Jan. 31 joint statement.
ConnectID enables identity verification online without requiring personal documents. Major Australian banks are now live with ConnectID, per the statement.
The feature is available to customers activating selected Telstra mobile services.
