Great Eastern Holdings' (SGX:G07) subsidiaries, Great Eastern Life Assurance and Great Eastern Takaful Berhad terminated its acquisition deal with AMAB Holdings and MetLife International, according to a Monday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

In an earlier filing, the two subsidiaries had entered into an implementation agreement with AMAB and MetLife to acquire 100% shares in AmMetLife Insurance and AmMetLife Takaful.
