1045 GMT - Vodafone is struggling to remain relevant, AJ Bell's Russ Mould writes in a note. "While there are some reasons for encouragement, the market has tuned these out and is focused on the growing problems in its German operation," Mould says. The London-listed telecom company's U.K. segment showed some growth, ahead of the now-approved merger with Three. However, the group needs to demonstrate it can achieve sustainable growth to reassure investors, Mould says. Shares fall 6.3% to 65.62 pence. (najat.kantouar@wsj.com)
