AMA Group Signs Deal to Assemble, Repair Electric Buses

AMA Group (ASX:AMA) entered into a strategic service agreement with Gemilang International to assemble and repair electric buses in Australia, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

AMA will be a partner of Gemilang, a Hong Kong-listed, Malaysia-based bus manufacturer, to complete any required local content assembly of electric buses that the latter proposed importing into Australia.

AMA will also be the preferred repair partner for the buses.

The firm's shares rose 2% in recent trading on Tuesday.
