AMN Healthcare Names Mark Foletta as Chairman

AMN Healthcare Services said Mark Foletta was named its new chairman of the board.

He succeeds Douglas Wheat, who had served on the board since 1999.

Foletta, who joined the board in 2012, served as vice president and chief financial officer of Tocagen from February 2017 until March 2020. Prior to that, he was interim CFO of Biocept, and SVP, finance and CFO of Amylin Pharmaceuticals.

Foletta currently is on the boards of DexCom and Entanta Pharmaceuticals. He previously served on other company boards, including Regulus Therapeutics and Ambit Biosciences, AMN said Friday.

AMN provides healthcare staffing services and workforce solutions.
