Citigroup (C) said it promoted more than 8,500 employees, effective at the start of this year, in its latest round of career advancements.
In a statement on its website Wednesday, the bank also said it had promoted nearly 23,000 workers throughout 2024.
C shares were over 2% higher in recent trading.
