Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (ASX:URW) received non-profit CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) Global's "A" rating for climate change for the seventh consecutive year, recognizing its efforts under its Better Places sustainability plan, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
In the past year, URW reduced carbon emissions by 42%, cut energy intensity by 37%, and started rolling out its Better Places Certification, the filing said.
The certification, covering environmental and social dimensions, has been applied to 14 assets, exceeding its 2024 target of 10 certified assets, the filing added.
