New Hope Liuhe (SHE:000876) posted pig sales revenue of 2.06 billion yuan in January, down 4.7% from 2.16 billion yuan the previous year, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.

Sales volume decreased 13% year over year to 1.5 million pigs from 1.7 million pigs, while average sales price climbed to 15.41 yuan per kilogram from 13.30 yuan per kilogram.

Shares of the pig producer slipped 1% in recent trade.
