Ansell (ASX:ANN) reported Monday that its adjusted earnings per share in the fiscal first half rose to $0.557, from adjusted earnings of $0.411 per share a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Visible Alpha were expecting EPS of $0.5212.
Earnings per share before adjustments was $0.377, up from $0.154 a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Visible Alpha expected $0.389.
Sales revenue for the six months ended Dec. 31, 2024, was $ 1.02 billion, up from $784.9 million in the same period a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Visible Alpha expected $912.6 million.
Ansell raised its fiscal 2025 adjusted earnings guidance to a range of $1.18 to $1.28 per share from the originally expected $1.10 to $1.27. Analysts polled by Visible Alpha expect adjusted earnings of $1.18 per share on revenue of $1.91 billion.
ANN also expects fiscal second-half earnings to rise, driven by pricing adjustments, lower air freight reliance, and early key business unit cost synergies. The. consensus estimate based on the Visible Alpha survey is earnings of $0.5515 per diluted share on revenue of $972.3 million.
The board declared an interim dividend of $0.222 per share, up from the $0.165 in the previous reported period, payable on March 6 to shareholders on record as of Feb. 17.
