Sunny Optical Technology (HKG:2382) expects an attributable profit of between 2.64 billion yuan and 2.75 billion yuan for the year 2024, up 140% to 150% from the year-ago figure of 1.1 billion yuan, a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
The lens maker attributed the anticipated rise in profit mainly to a recovery of the smartphone market, as well as the strong demand for new energy vehicles.
