Owens Corning (OC) said Tuesday it plans to build a shingle manufacturing plant in the southeastern United States to expand its roofing production network.

The facility will have a four-wide laminator with an annual capacity of roughly six million squares, with production expected to begin in 2027, the company said.

Owens Corning said it expects to announce the plant site later this year.
