Planet Fitness is adding two new members to its C-suite.
The gym chain said Wednesday that Bill Bode, currently president of the U.S. franchise division, will take on the newly created role of chief operating officer.
Jennifer Simmons, president of the corporate clubs division, is moving into the newly created position of chief strategy officer.
The appointments take effect on March 3. They come after Planet Fitness hired a chief development officer and chief marketing officer in January and February.
All of these new officers are reporting to Chief Executive Colleen Keating, who joined the company in April. She is the permanent successor to longtime chief Chris Rondeau, who was ousted by the company's board in 2023.
