Bharti Airtel (NSE:BHARTIARTL, BOM:532454) awarded a contract to Nokia and Qualcomm to expand 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) and Wi-Fi solutions across India, according to a bourse filing on Wednesday.
As part of the contract, Nokia will utilize Qualcomm's Modem-RF and Wi-Fi 6 chipsets to provide Airtel its 5G FWA outdoor gateway receiver and Wi-Fi 6 Access Point.
Nokia devices will be manufactured in India and packaged in recyclable materials, according to the filing.
