Beijing Capital International Airport (HKG:0694) plans to use a little over 2.99 billion yuan out of its discretionary surplus reserves to fully offset its accumulated loss of the same amount as recorded on Dec. 31, 2023, a Friday bourse filing said.
The company expects the compensation will increase the probability of its distribution of profit in the future while reducing the amount of accumulated loss.
The compensation plan is subject to the shareholder's approval and will be put forward at the company's upcoming shareholders' meeting.
