Beijing Capital International Airport (HKG:0694) plans to use a little over 2.99 billion yuan out of its discretionary surplus reserves to fully offset its accumulated loss of the same amount as recorded on Dec. 31, 2023, a Friday bourse filing said.

The company expects the compensation will increase the probability of its distribution of profit in the future while reducing the amount of accumulated loss.
