Dentsply Sirona (XRAY) said Tuesday that it is evaluating "strategic alternatives" for its Wellspect Healthcare business.

The review process has no set timetable and there is no assurance it will result in a transaction, the company said.

The company's shares were up more than 2% in recent premarket activity Tuesday.
